Good man - I got this on vinyl an age ago, still sitting proudly in my 'must-grab-if-the-house-burns-down' record box (like Peel's, only not as hip).

Just ordered this little gem from Phonica Records in Soho - seems as rare as hen's teeth - 2010 Polysom reissue. Happy days...!

África Brasil by Jorge Ben

Nice selection yourself, I was only listening to that Jorge Ben album again yesterday, I'd forgotten how fantastic it was.

Do they only sell beige records by any chance?

And my copy of Exuma from nowaxjim showed up today 😁 Very happy about that.

More record-buying silliness, courtesy of The Rock Box in Camberley and People Records in Guildford (owned and run by the drummer from The Vapors):

You Can't Hide Your Love Forever by Orange Juice

Our Love by Caribou

I also went to a record fair earlier. It was proper gash.

Picked up a recent reissue of Cecil Taylor's Unit Structures and Fenessz's Endless Summer and Becs at End of an Ear, and Milt Jackson's The Impulse Years and an original pressing of Killing Joke's debut at Friends of Sound. Got Mahavishnu Orchestra's The Inner Mounting Flame at Breakaway earlier this week.

Picked up some used CDs this afternoon. €3.50 each, €31.50 in all. I owned most of them in another form already (original cassette mostly) except two, Allen and Troggs.

Lubbock (On Everything) by Terry Allen

Giant Steps by John Coltrane

Extricate by The Fall

Rounds by Four Tet

Blue Lines by Massive Attack

A Chance To Cut Is A Chance To Cure by Matmos

The Black Saint And The Sinner Lady by Charles Mingus

Pre-Millennium Tension by Tricky

+

Athens and Over by The Troggs (1992). Sort of a comeback album supported by the whole of R.E.M. minus Stipe, + Holsapple. Can't be terrible.

Very happy overall.
