A trip to see the lovely Howard (ex-drummer with The Vapors) at People Records in Guildford today yielded the following from his bargain bin (the first two reduced only due to a minor spine bump):

I absolutely love her voice. So under appreciated. Her albums are gorgeous, the musicianship is tremendous, and she's so tasteful. She's fast becoming one of my favorite artists.

Went to Antone's to drop off my resume and picked up Weather Report's Black Market, Camey Do-Say's "Cajun Cowboy"/"Sea of Love," and George Freeman's "My Cajun Girl"/"Mary, Don't Cross The Bayou." Then I went over to Waterloo to drop off my resume and picked up Leo Kottke's 6- and 12-String Guitar, Ry Cooder's Paradise and Lunch, and that Bedhead live album from the last RSD that I didn't get a chance to pick up. All original issues and all cheap as hell.
