You know, I had pretty much forgotten that track until it popped up in the trailer for Blue Is the Warmest Color. Now, it's easily one of my 50 favorite songs of all time. Everything great about Teen Dream is summed up by "Take Care," not to mention it's arguably Legrand's best vocal performances on a track. There's not a thing about it I would change.

Dang, I thought I was the only one who put that song above everything in this album.
Teen dream never clicked with me that much, I like bloom better, Not really sure why, their highs here are pretty high, and it has some great consistency, mysteries we will never know.

This album had a truly profound effect on me from first listen. Zebra is my favourite track, even if listening to it doesn't quite have the same impact that it once did.
Teen Dream is essentially a perfect record. It's a major credit to Beach House that they've gone on to produce 3 excellent records after this one, even if their flaws are more apparent. It will be interesting to see if they deviate from the successful formula in the future - as hinted at by the odd song here and there (well, Sparks mainly).

This is still a great album, I love the textures here and the songwriting is better than many other artists of this style. My favorite is probably 10 Mile Stereo.

My favorite Beach House record along with Devotion. Really warm and pleasurable listen, and it came before they fell into the trap of essentially making the same album over and over again.
