Easily my favorite album of hers.

The Milk Eyed Mender is when her voice was the least trained and occasionally cringe worthy.
Have One On Me is the least manageable at 2+ hours long
Divers is the least imaginative (that's just personal opinion though)

Ys is in my all time top 20, everything just came together perfectly for it, and Emily is an absolutely stunning song.

I cannot for the life of me get into this album. I've tried half a dozen times and I just end up leaving in disappointment. Idk why. (Sigh)

Wonderful album which I was just listening to again at the weekend funnily enough. One of the few albums I've rated at 100 on this site. For me it's her best.

I was feeling really down and was trying to decide whether to listen to The Cure or Fuckmorgue but I ended up listening to Ys. true story. Super comforting stuff.

This albums fucking magical, Joanna's verse is utterly sublime and van Dyke's accompaniment is similarly so.

Cosmia feels like a "that's all folks" at the end of an insane loony tunes episode and that says all I need to say about Ys
