Just picked up a bootleg Arctic Monkeys record. Unreleased demos, tracks, and live Amsterdam performances. Listening to early unreleased tracks from the group blows me away.
My new AOTY for 2017. I missed the first pressing since I was late to discover the album, but fortunately Profound Lore did a second pressing. I actually wanted a black vinyl copy, but they only had orange, red, and blue vinyl, so naturally I went with orange since it compliments the gatefold cover. Vinyl weight is 180g. Compelling doom metal album if you haven't listened to it already. The artwork is on par with the 2012 Dopesmoker reissue, imo.
Feeding my unending shoegaze hunger, bought this album as well. Gatefold, 180g as well, Amazon didn't specify that it was a deep, rich, translucent blue color, but I ain't complaining. Thick packaging, but by no means is that a bad thing.
I really wished I hopped on the Panopticon train when this trilogy was coming out. I will probably order Kentucky this weekend, but I bought both of these first. Roads to the North is a gorgeous deep blue color with a light blue/white splatter and Autumn Eternal is a beautiful translucent amber orange. Both 180g double LPs. Both gatefolds. Fucking amazing. _________________ ...and for dessert!

I suppose I still don't have it but they're in the mail. they can be ordered on the official my bloody valentine website and nowhere else as far as I can tell, and unfortunately the only way to get them below $40 per is to order all 3 due to shipping costs.

One of my favorite things about buying records is finding out details of a record that I didn't know before. I didn't know that the "diamond plate" pattern of the album cover was actually embossed, so you can feel it.
This album is in absolutely perfect condition. Nice gatefold, comes with 24 page color photographic biography of the people who worked on the album. Really cool.

Yeah I'm still waiting for my Loveless and Isn't Anything bundle, too. I heard that they take forever to ship orders. When m b v came out, I've heard stories of people saying they didn't receive their copy until months after THE RELEASE DATE. And it's not like the vinyl and album had different release dates, they were supposed to ship at or around the day the album came out.
I actually may buy a new copy of m b v from their website because I bought mine used at an Urban Outfitters and the cover has some damage :/ _________________ ...and for dessert!
