The most important glam metal album of the history, great songs, anthems of the early eighties......
Though I hung up my metalhead ways years ago, I can still appreciate the simple check-your-brain-at-the-door joys of this hilariously over-the-top pop-evil masterpiece. You know the hits. But everything here is great. "The Price" is a cool moody ballad. "Burn In hell" is my favorite. Not a month goes by when I don't hear it in my head: 'You're gonna burn in hell!" Twisted Sister rullllles, dude!

i can't agree fully with the previous speakers. i can remember how this band and above all their ridiculous videos impressed me in the mid 80s. listening to it nowadays it mainly sounds old-fashioned to me. ok, it's not a bad effort, but most songs have a predictably and sligthly kitschy style (= scorpions).

Twisted Sister are a good time band, ultimately at their best live. This is one of their better studio albums. Enjoy them for what they are...fun !

Definetely worth a listen...
I will echo the other comments, this is unfortunately a forgotten little gem of the pop metal era of the 80s. No bad tracks and several very good tracks. However, due to the negative reputation of the pop metal from the 80s this album will never receive much attention.

A highly entertaining little piece of pop-metal. Sadly this is one of them albums that will never get the recognition it deserves. Not that it is any way creative, or even particularly skillfully executed, but it is great mindless fun at it's best. For those who haven't grown out of worrying about what other people will think it is safest to laugh at it though. You don't even have to listen to it to do that.
