Imo a dental-floss greater than LS.

Yeah. I love Laughing Stock, but I'm a Spirit of Eden person, through and through. This is a timeless, gorgeous work of genius, as transcendent and enrapturing as can be.

Track picks
1. The Rainbow
5. I Believe In You
6. Wealth

Anyone who prefers this to Laughing Stock probably can't handle their drink.

Like I said, only by a marginal. I'd consider them pretty much equally fine - wouldn't be surprised if I liked LS better one day. But right now, the gracefulness and charm, alongside Hollis' performance over these instrumentals on SoE, is too amusing to deny. Dancing

So don't worry, my drink's pretty good. Can I get another one? Wink

That be me then. And you’re right, I can’t. I tend to tip it over the heads of people who prefer LS instead.

True.
I've just re-listened to Spirit of Eden, and to me Laughing Stock is the masterpiece : much more cohesive, and (therefore) riveting from start to finish, whereas Spirit of Eden is slightly boring at times (but still very good)

I've always been a big shandy drinker. Ever since ending up in a rubbish skip with my trousers around my ankles after a night knocking back spirits in the hope of finally understanding a band who tried to remake Bitches Brew using only ukeleles, kazoos and bassoons.
