Elder's definitely one of the best rock bands of the modern age. Now if they'd only release more than 3 albums a decade.
The new Ulcerate is starting out brilliantly. The first track is already my new favorite Ulcerate song.

I typically form a good opinion the first time I hear an album. I think adapting that skill is very useful and saves time for more albums.

I've not been registered long enough to post links, but my favourite album of 2020 so far is the Dana Gavanski one. Beautiful, reminds me very much of Nico (maybe it's just an accent thing).

Yo, you should check out Manga Saint Hilare's new LP, Make It Out Alive. Far from the young, neeky, mostly forgettable one with the skippy flow (who looked like Libby from Eastenders) from Roll Deep, Manga in 2020 is the most interesting, versatile and consistent rapper in grime. He's got the wisdom of an older head, but the energy of a younger rapper. The beats leave his multiple flows plenty of room to breathe, nodding to the 8-bit violence of old Wiley beats, go going in unexpectedly bubblegum directions. A cool album that's kinda flown under the radar, Aidan Moffat (from Arab Strap) put out a sorta jazzy ambient album and it's really solid. _________________ Progressive Rock
