I went and listened to it again and I have changed my mind!!
As awesome and sublime as the opening track is, there are a lot of good tracks on this album and the closing track is excellent as well. The musicianship is terrific and although there may not be too many lyrics who cares??!
It sounds really good. I've done a 180 on it. I have decided I really like this album.
But then again, before I only heard it a couple of times.
Must remember to give albums a good few listens before I make my mind up about it in future.
Especially an album which is so highly esteemed.
And has such very mixed reviews.
