Steve Reich: Music For 18 Musicians by Ensemble Modern
This is an interesting take on the piece. Reich apparently never published a score for this, so some musicologists and possibly students transcribed the music from Reich's recordings. It's a little bit stronger than Reich's own; harsher isn't a good word considering how far this minimalist piece is from "harsh" but it's certainly less soft. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!
