One of, if not the best Creedence Clearwater Revival. Green river, is a fantastic record of good old honest rock'n'roll. It features possibly CCR best set of songs, featuring, amongst others, sinister purpose, Lodi, and the timeless, bad moon rising. This is rock'n'roll with heart and soul. (Edited)
CCR was always the best at classic roots rock, and Green River is one of their best, most cohesive efforts in that genre. They'd reach their peak on Cosmo's Factory, but this album still has plenty of great tracks, like the title track, Commotion, Bad Moon Rising, Lodi and Wrote a Song for Everyone. I certainly recommend this. (Edited)

What more do you want? When you listen to a CCR album, you know what you're getting... they never really strayed too far from their "signature sound." Solid rhythm, with nice guitar work as usual from J. Fogerty. (Edited)
