CCR's best instrumentation album. Always a group of outstanding musicians, they stepped it up a notch with this one.

I've always considered CCR to be a singles band , but Green River proves that incorrect , it truly is a classic album

There's some great stuff here ... the timeless "Bad Moon Rising" and the excellent "Commotion" into "Tombstone Shadow" are clear album shining lights

As honest as the day is long

CCR's only perfect album from start to finish. No bad song can be found here. The title track is the best after Bad Moon Rising.

"Green river" dura solamente 29 minuti... Eppure "Green river" è perfetto proprio ( e anche ) perché dura poco: non c'è una sola nota di troppo, niente di superfluo, nessuna inutile ripetizione per allungare il brodo. Essenzialità pura. Economia.

One of, if not the best Creedence Clearwater Revival. Green river, is a fantastic record of good old honest rock'n'roll. It features possibly CCR best set of songs, featuring, amongst others, sinister purpose, Lodi, and the timeless, bad moon rising. This is rock'n'roll with heart and soul.
