Second best CCR album after Cosmo's Factory, there are a lot of their greatest tracks on this one and it's fun to listen to.

Contains many favorite CCR tracks
Bangers: Lodi, Green River, Bad Moon Rising, Tombstone Shadow.
Fogerty's voice on Tombstone is so raw and suits the song perfectly,
Drop Nighttime is the right time, Cross Tie Walker and Sinister and take Proud Mary, Born on The Bayou and Bootleg from Bayou to this album and there is a helluva great album, !!
CCR was always the best at classic roots rock, and Green River is one of their best, most cohesive efforts in that genre. They'd reach their peak on Cosmo's Factory, but this album still has plenty of great tracks, like the title track, Commotion, Bad Moon Rising, Lodi and Wrote a Song for Everyone. I certainly recommend this.

Such a good record. Roots rock is a bit of a "safe" genre but doesn't make the music any less good.

Just a good CCR album. Bad Moon Rising is a fantastic song
Very entertaining album. Not a bad or average track in this album. Love it!

Worst tracks: commotion, sinister purpose
Top of the tree for CCR followed closely by Bayou County. Superb musicianship and vocals throughout. 'Bad Moon Rising' will be familiar to many as a backing to film/TV. Can't remember what it backed and don't really care. Hailing from the El Ceritto village area at the back of San Fransico Bay they offered a slight alternative to the likes of Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead. Perhaps less LSD to inspire their music but the results are still worthy.
