early days but nothing really jumped out at me from this one -
spent some time with Darkness On The Edge Of Town the last couple of weeks after you commented on that 😄 it really grew on me - one of those albums I keep wanting to go back to hear again... rreally liked some of the harder guitar on it - will probably get acquitted with Tunnel Of Love the next week or so,.. not sure which one to investigate after that, back catalogue is HUUUGE.

Darkness is an absolute gem. It is so hard to try to make recommendations for Bruce. As you say, huge back catalogue. For what it’s worth, another one of my all time favourites of his is
Not to everyone’s taste but I love it. We had waitin on a Sunny day playing as we exited the registry office when we got married. Probably my wife’s favourite album by Bruce.

He has many fine albums, but the first six are essential. Born In The U.S.A is what made him famous...but the ones the core of his fanbase turn to always are the first six. The River may be the lesser of these, because it's more keyboard based and has some filler. But the highs are tremendous.
