Epicus Doomicus Metalicus - Candlemass

Born Too Late - Saint Vitus

To Hell With the Devil - Stryper

Aside from the metal, I'm gonna toss these two albums out at you because I'd be super curious on what you'd think of them:
I'm a very firm believer that Third Stage is extremely underrated. Obviously the sheen of Boston had kinda worn off by the mid-80s, especially since it took them an eternity to record it, and aside from Amanda it gets largely ignored in favor of their first two albums. But man I love it - I think Tom Scholz's guitar work and arrangements are just top notch all throughout the album, and Brad Delp absolutely kills it vocally. I think it gets unfairly overlooked.
The last studio album Frank Zappa ever released before he died, and it's a wild one. Zappa got ahold of a Synclavier and went absolutely wild with it, writing some really bizarre and fascinating music that, in classic Zappa fashion, isn't pretty tongue-in-cheek, including a song (G-Spot Tornado) that he claimed could never be played by human beings (even though it was 7 years later). And mixed in there is a killer guitar solo on St. Etienne, which is fun.
It's just a bizarre, wild album and I'd be really curious what you'd think of it. _________________ Progressive Rock
