The best way to describe this is a combination of earliest 'Sabbath' and hard rock/proto-metal band 'Dust.' It's not bad but does sound quite flat and drab throughout. Would of benefited massively from better production.
As far as imitating Black Sabbath goes, these guys did a pretty damn good job. I'm gonna go ahead and file this in my head under "enjoyable".

What an excellent heavy metal/doom metal album! Such an underrated band and they should have been so much bigger even in their own time. They leave that haunting Black Sabbath taste, but with better vocals. Sign of the Wolf and Relentless are the best tracks on here, but all are good.
