This is one of my favorite Neil albums...what do you think of it?
a wonderful record... it's really gotten under my skin lately, a real slow burner, overlooked it for years but I seem to be enjoying it more and more with every play these days - probably up around a top 5 Neil for me ... a near perfect record, only let down by Piece Of Crap - hey at least that's accurately named.. Ha!
Dead on for me. There are some amazing Crazy Horse jams here, the mood is dark (as the best Neil albums tend to be), and it gets better for me as the years go by. And yeah..."Piece Of Crap" is pretty self explanatory. Otherwise, a real good album. I also really like that he wasn't afraid to showcase two sets of lyrics for the same song..."Western Hero" and Train Of Love". Neil plays flute for the only time on this record, and the title track is for Kurt Cobain. I love it! _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold
