Despite my immense love For Your Pleasure, and being a fan of the band in general, this album is not for me. It's pretty boring and my least favorite Roxy Music album. They got much better after this.

Really solid album. For Your Pleasure is their best along with having their best song imo, "In Every Dream Home a Heartache" but this one is a close second for me and the only other one I listen to anymore.

I agree with WindowAbove. Roxy Music are definitely one of the most influential and greatest bands ever, and one of my personal favorite bands. But I think their debut is way overrated, almost all their other albums are better. (I don't know Manifesto and Flesh + Blood in its whole, though)

Not as good as For Your Pleasure, their other album recorded with Eno. And overall, may be a little overrated here. I would say this is their fifth or sixth best album.
