Iommi, for me. Again, at this stage, this is just a personal preference. I appreciate what Fahey does more than I love it, whereas I adore Iommi's work throughout those first four Sabbath albums (and intermittently afterwards). I wouldn't begrudge Fahey victory though.

Completely this. All due respect to Fahey, an excellent musician for sure, but 75% of the time I just don't enjoy his music. I wish I could reproduce the 25% more often, but most of the time he's just too dry for my taste.

Both are incredible masters of a genre. It's hard to imagine music without either. Fahey has me hypnotized so he gets my vote

I honestly don't care who wins this one. They are both fantastic and likely the most talented individuals within their respective genres.
EDIT: and are basically the inventors of their respective genres

Oof ... wow. What's weird is I don't think either of them should be here, but both are incredible. Abstaining for now with a SLIGHT preference to Iommi.
