i wasn't sure if this question would be best for the music forum or the suggestions forum, so i thought i'd start here.
if an album has a scheduled release date of January 26, 2015, but the artist has gone ahead and posted it on Bandcamp today (December 1, 2014), for the purposes of BEA would this officially be considered a 2014 release or a 2015 release?
(note: even on the bandcamp page that went live today, it lists jan 26 2015 as the release date.)
BEA always uses the original release date, which to my mind should be the official release date (to avoid the situation of using leaked release dates for other releases).

thanks for the reply. since the bandcamp page and the band's website both list the january release date, i'll make the album my first chart entry for 2015
