Few runs can equal, or indeed surpass, CCR's 69-72 run. Fairport Convention maybe? Neil Young?

Excellent of course. But yea, Cosmo's Factory is life changing.
That reminds me, I had a friend from Lodi once. _________________

Good album indeed. Def the best album of theirs up to that point, though Cosmo's Factory I think beats it out. As far as the 69-72 years go, how about Zeppelin and Sabbath?

Good old-fashioned fun. Feels like an older fashion than it was, but that's the charm of course. CCR didn't have a ton of tricks, but the ones they did, they did very well.

It's a relatively weak period for Dylan actually. Nashville Skyline, Self Portrait, and New Morning are all good records, but hardly rival what came before, or very soon after.
Love CCR. Crazy to think this is only one of the 3 albums they released in 69, and Willy and the Poor Boys is just as good if not better.(I also agree with those who prefer Cosmo's Factory) _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

This, basically. I like Self Portrait a lot, but only Nashville Skyline is essential from those years. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
