Still my favorite chart to just sit and look at. I've heard like 95/100 of these, and love just about all of them. Let's make a deal. Swap out Blink 182 for Nick Cave and I'll bump my rating up to a 105/100.
For real though, next time I update my chart we might end up with 50 artists in common. Great stuff.

Thanks for all the love, Friends! I really appreciate it. I love you too pa and badseed. And skinny I super appreciate it - There's no one else on bea I respect the musical thoughts of more than you.
And psychologist, I didn't understand your post, but thanks for whatever.
Oh and badseed, I need to try again to get into mr. Cave. I know he's pretty much a music icon in many ways, I just have not had my moment with him yet. What's the album, based off what you know about me and his music, that you think is most likely to turn me on to his work the most? _________________ -Ryan

To be honest, not the 80s stuff. There's not much on your list that asks for dark, nasty post punk. I wanna say No More Shall We Part is the one for you, with its poetic lyrics and beautiful arrangements. While he is far from a great vocalist, his singing constantly evolves and has never been better than here. The sincerity of "And No More Shall We Part" and "Sweetheart Come," the desperation of "Oh My Lord" and "The Sorrowful Wife," the hilariousness of "God is in the House"... I really ought to move it back to my #1 or at least top 5. It's definitely my #1 singalong album.
If that doesn't do anything for you, Let Love In is also near perfect. Ballads, rockers, spookers. A much more compact album compared to NMSWP but packs a big punch.
And if you really don't get anything out of those, try Dig Lazarus Dig. It's fun and unique. Not my favorite but possibly the most all around enjoyable and entertaining.

Thanks guys! Love ya both! I've actually listened to that album. I remember liking it but I didn't give it the attention it deserves. So i shall retry tonight. Or tomorrow, as I am a little too drunk atm to do my due diligence.
And repo, thanks man. I saw you read those 2 teams. I hope liked them, coach. Especially hope you are okay with my next rendition of 84. I walked around the dead city streets of St. Louis last night while relistening to all the '84 singles. And I loved them. I felt a little like "man I have good taste" in me head. A brief moment of ego couched in a sea of self-deprecation. _________________ -Ryan
