I know they're still technically supergroups, but I didn't add these bands to the poll (since they're more primary bands than side projects... and also they would dominate the polls pretty unfairly ๐ ):
-Cream
-Crosby Stills Nash and Young
-Emerson Lake and Palmer
-Journey
-Bad Company
-Asia
-Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
-Foo Fighters
-The Plastic Ono Band
So that leaves a little more lesser known stuff. Can't wait to see what people favor! If I missed out on your fav, just post it below.
You're missing the Wilburys...probably the best lineup of any supergroup.
And my favorite...Golden Smog: Dan Murphy (Soul Asylum), Gary Louris (Jayhawks), Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Jody Stephens (Big Star), Chris Mars (The Replacements), Marc Perlman (Jayhawks), and a host of others. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

I abstained - the only album I own from any of those is Them Crooked Vultures - I was trying to think who I would have liked and can only come up with the following:
The Breeders (would be my favourite if classed as a Supergroup)
Electronic
The Power Station.....
FischmanRockMonster, JazzMeister, Bluesboy,ClassicalMasterProfile Land of Enchantment
Among that batch, Transatlantic was an easy choice for me.
My favorite among those not mentioned is Flying Colors:
Steve Morse (Dixie Dregs, Steve Morse Bans, Solo, Deep Purple, Kansas) -- Guitar
Mike Portnoy (Dream Theather, Liquid Tension Experiment, Transatlantic, Winery Dogs) -- Drums and vocals
Casey McPherson (Endochine, Alpha Rev) -- Lead Vocals
Neal Morse (Spock's Beard, Transatlantic) -- Keyboards and vocals
Dave LaRue (Dixie Dregs, Steve Morse Band) -- Bass
Others of note include
Chickenfoot:
Sammy Hagar (Montrose, HSAS, Van Halen)
Joe Satriani (Mick Jagger, Deep Purple)
Michael Anthony (Van Halen)
Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Glenn Hughes)
The Firm:
Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company)
Jimmy Page (The Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin)
Tony Franklin (Roy Harper)
Chris Slade (Uriah Heep, Manfred Mann's Earth Band)
Flying Colors is a great supergroup who doesn't get much recognition. They're a great rock band with a little bit of prog influence (Mike Portnoy on drums). I recommend them pretty highly.
