Can someone tell me what does the "Name your own rank" ability does at level 8 and how you use it?

I never knew until just now. Basically under my name it now says Diplomat. Doubt I'll keep that. Nothing too fancy

Something like a little self-promotion, eh? 😄 Kind of "cheesy" for level 8. I'd rather see the potential to create larger charts. ❗

I assume pushing the charts past 100 would mess with the scoring formula.
