Anybody voting for Deerhunter has clearly never been inna di darnce when 'Skeng' has to be wheeled up seven times back-to-back. It's a chaos causer, and one of the songs that really defines my raving days.

Another tough call. I was impressed by the guitar workout on the Deerhunter track bigtime but overall it leans a bit too heavy on classic Pixies/ Pavement indie rock to really pique my interest.
I wasn't exactly boppin' along to Skeng but I liked it's original sound and cool atmosphere. I'll go with the Bug this time.

oh wow this one is close rn. I had a lot of great times with that Deerhunter song but The Bug track is a fantastic representative for a specific part of the 00's that I love, so I had to go with that.

Not gonna be mad if Skeng wins, great track. But Nothing Ever Happened, like most of my other nominees, just means a lot to me personally.
