From spending quite a lot of time on reddit and soundcloud I have come across a lot of fantastic music that has a tiny amount of plays. With the advent of home recording and platforms where people can put any music out into the internet universe, there is a tonne of totally unlistened to gems out there. Share your favourites! A great place to find great tracks it is reddit's indie feedback community, it is quite overwhelming the amount of underground talent out there.

A fantastic track I found on Soundcloud is the song night crossing by Atlas Cedar, a beautiful song about the refugee crisis

Reddit's indie music feedback sub is awesome, I'm always on there.

https://soundcloud.com/user-491515045-414158675 David Heath, noise rock project

https://soundcloud.com/user-766619428 Admiral Krank and His Mighty Band of Spacemen, psychedelic rock with lots of experimentation

Found both of these projects when they followed me on soundcloud, and the stuff is great

this would make a great music diary. soundcloud is a cesspool of failed edm producers, to be sure, but there are also any number of gems i've come across there. surprisingly, some artists are exclusively soundclouders. no bandcamp or anything even. it blows my mind, but it's a thing.
