I don't get the hype on this one. I feel like it's B-side material to much better Weezer. I feel like it's a parallel to the good stuff, but never intersects. So it's not bad, it'd be a good b-sides to something like Pinkerton, but it's not A side either. And not like Pisces Iscariot, Zooropa, or Amnesiac amazing B-side type albums either for clarity.

Everything Will Be Alright In The End was a great career comeback for Weezer, but this album is even greater.

An instant classic, in my opinion. This only gets better with age and goes toe-to-toe with Blue and Pinkerton. So glad that it's in the top 1000

Hey - as a dude with Rivers as an avatar, can you help me understand why you feel it goes toe-to-toe? I actually think Everything Will Be Alright or the Red album or the Green Album are better picks there.
Maybe I just need to give it a spin again (only listened to it twice when it first came out and gave up)... but what specifically do you love/find comparable to the energy of their better works?
Not trying to disagree, just trying to understand.

I saw them on the tour supporting this, and it was telling that they played exactly half as many of these songs as those from the debut album ( 4:8 ). _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

Agreed. I can listen to like 4-5 of their albums, most of the others are shit. But Everything Will Be Alright In The End and White Album are among their best imo. _________________ Overall chart
