A brilliant album. TVZ has rightly and steadily risen in the pantheon of all time great songwriters. He is just such a balanced, beautiful, introspective yet at times whimsical wordsmith. This is probably his best studio album. And it’s right up there as his best release ever (Live at the Old Quarter, High Love and In Between, and the 2 disc compilation soundtrack for the documentary Be Here to Love Me are you there as well in my opinion. ) _________________ -Ryan
Without competition the single greatest country album ever written. Townes is just an absolutely brilliant songwriter, and there is not a single track on this thing that I would consider any less than breathtaking.
