While I thought The Balladeer was quite good, I gotta hand this one to Shore. Fleet Foxes have declined in quality since their first release, but Shore is still pretty strong. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!

Lori McKenna is the second time in this tourney I vote despite my prejudices. So now I've voted for a dance album and a country album. I'm pretty sure people in Hell are getting big glasses of ice water right now.
Both of them show us that a few catchy melodies can get you far, but The Balladeer was the more exciting of the two.
The Balladeer gets my vote. _________________ Bob Dylan Charles Mingus
Didn't really care for The Balladeer much on the first two listens, while Shore keeps getting better every time. Looks like an easy choice, but I might give Lori McKenna another chance even if it's not really my style. _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart
I'm not. Fleet Foxes is a common favorite and they are an accessible band as indicated by Pitchfork and /mu/ influence (at least in the online sphere for the latter).
