I just wanna talk about Brian Eno. I jut listened to my first Eno album "Another Green World". It was excellent! Really hit home emotionally. I'm really excited about getting into him because I know he had several pretty classic and revered albums to jump in on. I have heard "Remain In Light" and I believe he produced that. Right?
Anyway, if any of you wanna recommend what I should get into next by him or produced by him that would be greeeeaaaat... _________________ -Ryan
I recently bought his first album, Here Come the Warm Jets. I'm really enjoying the track "Blank Frank", but I believe that "Needle in the Camel's Eye" and "Here Come the Warm Jets" were the big tracks from the album.

When I first got into Eno, I focused on Another Green World, Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy), Here Come the Warm Jets, and Before and After Science, with my favorite alternating between the latter three albums.
Lately, I've been addicted to his Ambient series (especially Ambient 4: On Land), Discreet Music, and Thursday Afternoon (never thought I'd be thanking kidamnesiac).
However, everything he released through 1985 is gold.
His collaborative/production work that I've heard thus far (for the most part) is great too, including: David Byrne + Brian Eno - My Life in the Bush of Ghosts; Slowdive - Souvlaki; David Bowie - Heroes, Low, and (the often unappreciated) Lodger; John Cale - Fear; Talking Heads - 77, More Songs About Buildings and Food, Fear of Music, and Remain in Light; U2 - The Joshua Tree; Robert Fripp + Brian Eno - (No Pussyfooting); Harold Budd + Brian Eno - The Pearl; The Penguin Cafe Orchestra - Music From the Penguin Cafe; Devo - Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!; and V/A - No New York.
And then there's Roxy Music's For Your Pleasure.
Lastly, let's not forget that Brian Eno composed the classic Microsoft Windows start-up sound.
Truly a prolific artist that oozes quality.

Good call on his collaboration with Fripp. Both albums are glorious. Good call also on Fear, my pick for Cale's best solo LP.
However, I thought he hadn't collaborated to '77, moreover, I wouldn't advise all of his collaborations : Wrong Way Up with Cale is pretty boring, except one or two songs ("Cordoba" on the top off my head, needs re-listening probably), Spinner with Jah Wobble I thought uninteresting, but then again it's been a while, I might be more receptive today.
