Love the movie and the soundtrack as well (the track that plays in the ending is absolutely haunting). It was a great year for soundtracks in general, remember Social Network.

I don't see why this is considered a world album besides Zimmer's nationality, but it is a great soundtrack. Not as good as Reznor's for The Social Network, but it is easily one of the best in recent years.

World Album of the Day is to highlight albums made by artists from outside the UK, the USA and Canada (maybe Ireland too, I can't remember). It's not too difficult. "World music" is a fucking stupid term in any case, but I enjoy this relatively new addition to the site. I'm not sure what people are having trouble with here.
