Some great songs, but it drags on a bit. Oh and "Pawn Shop" is way too long. "Santeria" and "Caress Me Down" are the shit though. My girlfriend loves this album though so I listen to it quite often. _________________

Love this album and band. When I first joined here it was well out of the top 500, good to see it's moved up a little closer to where it belongs. Garden Grove and April 29th are my favorite tracks, but I like them all. Sad to think that Bradley Nowell died right before this album was released and it became one of the biggest albums of the entire decade. Although I'm sure with all that money that was coming to him he would have overdosed eventually one way or another .
Lou Dog must have been a great dog.

The few songs I've heard from this album (basically, the ones with the most radioplay) bore the fuck out of me, as does most white ska-reggae-rap rock.

While 40 oz.'s got this more garage/underground wild touch to it, still a great album, full of killer tracks. Sad as it is to know that Bradley didn't live to see it going big, I think "What I Got" (much as I like the track) shows that their next step would have been easy listening ska / school punk shit with a trace of hip hop, though. One of the best ska/reggae/hip hop live rhytm sections ever, and Bradly proves a couple of times here he knew how to play, too (solo in Santeria, Pawn Shop), Personal favourites: Wrong Way, Johnny Butt, Doin' Time, Pawn Shop. Oh no, most of them, actually. _________________ Always shouts out something obscene

Sublime's music makes me cringe every time I hear it. I'm not entirely sure why, but I am sure that it isn't for me.
