One of my all time favorite albums. I like every Deerhunter album to some extent, but this is their crown jewel (so far), perfectly balancing their ambient tendencies with a more accessible sound than what came before it. It has such a brilliant atmosphere, always gripping. I have a hard time believing this won't be one of my top 10 albums of the decade when 2020 rolls around. Many favorites here, including Desire Lines, Earthquake, Revival, Coronado.

The album cover is so much better than the album itself. The album is cool enough though, I guess, just not something that really does much of anything for me.

Individual fantastic moments (Earthquake, The last 4 tracks) but it all amounts to an inconsequential whole.

Greatest album I have ever heard. Captivating from start to finish. Both Bradford and Lockett work together seamlessly here and the result is remarkable. _________________ peace.
