One of the few metal albums that I have made it the whole way through. It was okay

I could write a book about how much this album blows my mind. But now that my mind is blown a few words are all I can manage.

Well, MOP is at #3 on my 80's chart. A chart I spent a great deal of time agonizing over though only one member has rated it Sad

I can't pick my favorite on this album, but I can the most underrated.

I prefer Ride the Lightning, maybe because it's the one that set the tone for how Metallica paced their albums but I absolutely love this as well.

The first time I saw Metallica was in 2006, 20 years after Master of Puppets was released so I was lucky enough to see them perform the entire album. I don't listen to as much 'heavy' music as I did back then, but the fact I still listen to this album is testament to how good it is. THE hard rock album of the 1980's.

there are no best songs on this album, my favorites are probably "the thing that should not be" and "disposable heroes". my least favorite is probably battery.
