One of the few Reggae albums with which I am intimately familiar. My knowledge of the genre may be limited, but I love this album

I actually don't think this record lives up to its huge reputation, but it's still very good.

Agreed. And as dub goes, the version LP Garvey's Ghost is pretty tame. But overall, it's a stoned-on JA classic, albeit one that's far too slickly produced. And with just a tad too much flute noodling.
