I like this album a lot. It's the majority of stuff since that I can't stand. 'Joe's Head' and 'Trani' in particular are great songs. "The Southern Strokes", as the NME insisted on calling them.

All my mates went on about how good this was when it came out. I'd heard California waiting and another track and thought I'd buy it. Not impressed it went back to the shop in exchange for the current basement jaxx cd. Average.

Yup. I gave it a year to sink in, still couldn't see the fuss and finally gave it away to charity.
