Usually spend my New Years alone, so this album has been great company ever since the eve of 2014. However, the mood's going to be a lot more sour this New Years. So many regrets have been made. Crying or Very sad

The best Death Cab album. They're really more of a great song as opposed to great album band. They don't have a single album that doesn't have at least one or two tracks I don't mind skipping. This one is the closest to being great start to finish, with a handful of essential tracks. Still a very enjoyable listen.

I usually hate stuff like this but I've got a hell of a soft spot for Transatlanticism.

Also that looping ending is hella pretentious, but when it loops back into a song about The New Year, it somehow pulls it off.

Every time I listen to this, I rock out hard to the New Year and then am continuously let down for the next 10 tracks. Even the slow start to track 2 is such a let down. Not sure if the rest is really that mediocre or if the opener is just that good. I also really can't stand Ben Gibbard's voice, so that could be part of the reason.
