Fuck me this is a bit SURREAL:
I was just listening to it last week.
when the next day Postal Service was album of the day,
and people were telling me why to listen to it as it also was associated with DC4C.
Then I started adding it to my iTunes.
Then I listened to the demo version the next day.
Then I added that as well.
Now 2 days later this is album of the day.
DAAAAAAAAMMMN.
(God is real, y'all.)
Anyways, I started liking the album (especially the second half), now I love it already. Amayyzing cover as well!!!!!!!!!

A very special album when it came out for me. It was one of the few records that spoke to me as a freshmen in high school and it laid out the groundwork for my interest in indie pop/rock music. I still think The Photo Album is an inch better due to better atmosphere, pacing, and mood but Gibbard is and has always been a great introspective songwriter that speaks to a certain melancholy to a certain facet of awkward introverted kids. I'll always love this one.
