Start a new ADP thread whenever you want. It'd be great to hear from ya. |
Indeed. Just start one, however you want to do it. Just have ADP in title so I'll know to add it to the OP listing all the others. I think the more this is done by more users, we'll cover enough albums to be broad in our selections. But not a bad concept - choosing someone else's number 1 album and reflecting on what your experience with it was.

Alright, what kind of discussion do you want me to post up in January? You know my areas of knowledge for the most part so I figured I'd poll the people who are relative regulars. What should I talk about?

Hey Gowi. Given your love of music from the East and seeing as people keep raving on about them (both on here and also on RYM I'm lead to believe) I'd be interested to hear your slant on a Fishmans LP. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing

I think if I do anything from Eastern Asia I feel like I'd need to find a universal source for people to listen to it from.

I've enjoyed your metal and soul/motown stuff.

Yeah, I was thinking about what would be a good topic for soul or metal, actually.

What soul or metal album do you think the following would be interesting for and then go nuts?
From the OP:
1. Social/historical/cultural significance
2. Some kind of question you want answered/discussed
3. Thoughts on the production/hi-fi/lo-fi
4. Lyrical content/analytical critique
5. Interesting stuff about the band/artist
6. Maybe treat it like a 5th grade book report and tell us what you learned about it (could be lame, could be fun)... idk... summarize the wiki for us since sometimes reading is hard.
