Tilly submitted the 32nd nomination to fill the bracket. This leaves two choices:

1) Disregard Puncture Repair's nomination as not on time and proceed with the previous plan.
2) Accept Puncture Repair's nomination and add a play-in game for the #32 seed similar to the NCAA tournament. This would occur before the first-round matchups and extend the tournament's duration by a week or two.

I will do whatever most users feel is best, so please weigh in.

Cool. That's what I wanted to do, just needed some confirmation that it was the right choice Very Happy

If anyone else watching this board has a burning desire to submit something, do it ASAP. We can easily have two play-in games instead of one.

The play-in match(es) will be posted this evening.

I'm surprised that none of the top four of the year, all within the all-time top 1000, will have a chance to bring home the trophy.

If you’re desperate - and not that I imagine for one second anyone will listen to it/enjoy it anyway, I nominate:

I'm curious if this goes well, could we have tournaments for yesteryears?

We did one for 1974 IIRC.

The trouble with tournaments is that they lose momentum quicky. The best one in recent memory for me was the ‘best album outside the top 10,000’ or whatever it was called - pulled up some fantastic hitherto unheralded gems.

Not desperate, but I can accept the nomination anyway if you'd like Wink

And I will definitely listen to it.
