I'll go first.
I really like this album.
OK it's no 'In Rainbows', the album that it followed but it has some good tracks. I used to play it on a loop when it came out. Fave tracks are Morning Mr Magpie, Little By Little, Give Up The Ghost and Lotus Flower.
I even have the TKOL remix album, which isn't very popular I don't think but I like it. I like it when a track from the remix album comes up on a 'shuffle' on my iPod.
Radiohead aren't even in my top 5 fave artists but they are probably at number 6 lol.

After seeing the band live I can say that these songs translate much better to the stage. A greater richness of texture comes out in a live setting, whereas I always find this album to be too antiseptic.

Definitely one of my favorites my Radiohead. I like that they seemed to stop caring what people think here. They were content with sitting in a studio, crafting very complex electronic sounding songs, and then performing them in a rockish style. This album contains some of their most creative and beautiful moments, it's very self-reflective and deep at times. At the very least, most fans seem to accept the B side as one of the greatest runs of songs in their career, and I definitely think it deserves it.
I honestly have an extremely hard time picking between Bloom, Codex and Separator as my favorite.

a mixed bag for me. i love a lot of the jazzy improv feel of it and the whacked out introduction to the album. heavy rhythms. all that. i think dawn of midi was a big inspiration. but as a whole, this feels a little lazy to me thom-wise. lyrically, i think this is his worst work since pablo, and that's not just on account of the brevity. when thom does sing, there's a lot of nonsense like "i'm such a tease, and you're such a flirt" and "good morning, Mister Magpie. how are we today? now you've stolen all the magic". it's cringey. it's silly. it's a far cry from prior efforts. and the second reason i feel it was a bit of a lazy effort is the length. within a year of releasing this album, they had something like four or five singles they came out with that weren't on the album, most of which were more interesting than what was on the album. so what was the rush? why couldn't they wait a year and release a whole album? it feels so lazy and unfinished and rushed.
i don't mean to be all negative because i like a lot of the atmosphere and the rhythms, and there are some great things going on here, but there are reasons this record drives people mad. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.

Definitely the most underrated Radiohead album, so I'm glad it's getting some love here.
The sound textures and the instrumentation are excellent, and while I agree that it's weaker lyrically, somehow lyrics are teh least important here compared to the other albums.
Oh, and Codex is one of the most beautiful songs ever and probably THE most underrated Radiohead song.
I rank it their 6th best, defintitely above Amnesiac and HTTT, but just below AMSP. _________________ All time
