The only greatest hits album ever that works properly as an album of its' own.
Best Songs: All of them. It is quite possibly the literal greatest 14 songs that Bob ever made.
AMAY all-time rank: Unranked

I mean, it's not this album's fault that I can only associate it with irritating teen stoners, but there are some great songs on here.
When I was little, my dad played this a lot. And I used to think "Jammin'" was called "Pajamas," because that's what it sounded like Marley was singing. And frankly, I'm pretty sure my interpretation is better, but what are you gonna do?

I love this comp but I agree you have to listen to his studio and live albums too. And his early stuff.
Obvious ones to go for are Catch A Fire and Exodus but all his stuff is good. And there is so much available.
I think for me and a lot of people there is a lot of nostalgia connected to this album. I smoked my first spliff to this album and many more to it later as a teen. I was a teen stoner lol!!
I don't do drugs anymore but I still love listening to Bob Marley.

Give me Soul Rebels, Soul Revolution, Catch a Fire, and particularly Burnin' over this pile of steaming, overproduced horseshit. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
