Although the majority of choices are not unfamiliar and some are more familiar and stereotyped than deserving, this is not a bad chart.

Having recently been enchanted by Rapa Iti, it is interesting to see world music on the chart, and especially the amazing Le Mystère Des Voix Bulgares: Volume 1. Although I have never listened to them, from what I read many years ago in my old Rock: The Rough Guide, More Tales From The City is another really surprising selection.

Visiter is rarely seen here (at least in my recollections) but I have heard very good review of it on Rate Your Music.
