Just like The Bends, this used to be my favourite record for a great deal of time, and when i come to think about it, i think it's easy to see why, there's not a lot of albums that i have listened as much as this. I believe Is This It is one of the essential records of the 00's; It has a lot of personality to it, it's pretty fun to listen to and it's just great music overall, can't say a bad thing about it. Definitely a classic.

Favourite tracks:

-The Modern Age
-Soma
-Someday
-Alone, Together
-Hard To Explain
-New York City Cops

I didn't listen to nearly as much music as I wanted to in 2019, but one album I came back to over and over was this--as well as Room on Fire. I've always enjoyed Is This It, but I've really been taking for granted just how immortal it is. It's nearly 20 years old and hasn't lost a lick of life.

Also, my co-workers are watching me type this and are telling me to cyberbully you all. So.. I bully thee.

Track picks
2. The Modern Age
6. Alone, Together
7. Last Nite
8. Hard To Explain
9. New York City Cops
