Where do you guys think Wilco's new album the Whole Love will end up ranking. I think it will be #1 in 2011 _________________ One evening 1945 -

I think DJ Shadow should be in the running for album of the year but who's heard it around here? I don't think the current albums of the year will still be so high up in a few years time, apart from PJ Harvey

You think PJ Harvey will rill rise above Wilco? Gawd I hope not. Also I can't see WIlco in the top 10, maybe top 20. Unless of course the album is super amazing.
By the end of year this is what the top 10 will maybe, possibly, probably not look like:
1. Helplessness Blues - FLeet Foxes (I don't see it being toppled)
2. Mylo Xyloto - Coldplay
3. The King Of Limbs - Radiohead
4. Let England Shake - PJ Harvey
5. Audio, Video, Disco - Justice
6. Bon Iver, Bon Iver - Bon Iver
7. Biophilia - Bjork
8. Yuck - Yuck
9. James Blake - James Blake
10. Feist - Metals

Where's Kaputt?
...
Just to be clear, this is what you THINK it'll be, not what you want? Except for Justice, I think you're pretty close though. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!

Definitley what I think, not what I want.; I wouldn't have James Blake and Yuck in a top 10 but I think I would put Destroyer there.
You think Justice will be higher or lower? I could also see Bjork doing better if the album is really really good.

Ya, James Blake would be far from my top 10. Yuck's album was still probably one of the years best though, and Shook Down is still my favourite song to come out this year
As for Justice, I don't think they'll make the top 20 Sorry.
Bjork COULD make the top 10 if the album is up to standards though (not like her recent crap), but if it's as good as Post, it could be a good contender.
AND CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY THE DIRECTORS CUT IS SO HIGH
Oh.
Wait.

I have only heard snippets of the new album, but it seemed quite boring. (Then again I think Wilco is generally a boring band)
I'll probably give it a full listen sometime this week.

It will be as popular as every new Wilco album that is released: mediocrity. It's nothing new, Wilco has pretty much lost it, unimpressive.

Your joking, right? Might be a contender for worst album of the year.
