Muse song generator:

1. Arpeggiated chords/Broken chords
2. Radio friendly chord progression
3. Lyrics include: Corporations/Mind control/Government
4. Arena friendly chorus

Laughing very well put. Though i would add something about "Space" and something about ripping Queen.

change in the BEA chart since 2 years: -11 Crying or Very sad

Their best album, and one of the greatest (71# in my chart).
for those who don't understand the appeal to this ban. Muse is one of the very few bands who can make grandiose arena music without being ridiculous, thanks to the beautiful melodies, powerful singing and an excellent production.

5/5 songs: Bliss, Citizen Erased

I guess this is where I part with most people who like Muse: To me it sounds just as silly as something like Emerson, Lake and Palmer but without the good grace to fully revel in its own pomposity. If you're going to do prog rock then go all the way, God damn it! It's at least one 10+ minute song per album and lyrics about spaceships and/or magic spells or nothing at all!

Agreed with some of the opinions, but there is no doubt they are fun to listen to on occasion. And Citizen Erased is my favourite track on the album.
