I think this is mistakenly seen as a triple album. It makes more sense as being a double, which was originally sold with an additional album of bonus material called "Apple Jams". The Jams don't relate well to the first two discs, so it's best to set them aside -at first anyway- so then you can digest the album that was originally intended more easily.
What I'm basically trying to say is "kick out the motherfuckin' jams"

A great indication of how much great music was stock piled by George Harrison during his time with the Beatles. Most of the key tracks on this album sound ahead of their time.

With you on this. The jams are of relative inconsequence to the main 2 discs of the record. And what a fine two records they are. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.

Proof that those other two knuckleheads had been giving George short shrift.

I love this album
I remember, when I was young, that My Sweet Lord always used to be on the radio. Especially when my Dad took me to the barbers for a haircut!
I have vivid memories of sitting in the pumped-up barbers chair, drifting happily off to that sublime track whilst getting my hair cut.
I'm talking late 70's/early 80's here.
