Perfume Genius is an odd musician in that while I listen, I absolutely love it. I've rated most of his albums 4/5 or so. But then when I go back and think of it, I almost have no recollection of the songs on the albums. This is the case for Put Your Back N 2 It, No Shape, and Set My Heart on Fire Immediately, all great albums.
The only exception seems to be Too Bright, for which I very much remember a handful of songs from the first side of the album but thinking that the second side was much weaker by comparison.
Maybe I just haven't listened enough for Perfume Genius' music to become ingrained in my memory, or maybe I'm losing my memory lol, but I do think he's an incredible writer and musician and always look forward to a new release of his.
