About album of the day: The BestEverAlbums.com album of the day is the album appearing most prominently in member charts in the previous 24 hours. If an album, or artist, has previously been selected within a x day period, the next highest album is picked instead (and so on) to ensure a bit of variety. A full history of album of the day can be viewed here.
This started off as my 2nd or 3rd favorite Blur album close behind Parklife. In comparison with the others like The Great Escape and self-titled being better at nearly every listen and 13 having kept its profound greatness, Modern Life Is Rubbish has grown off me kind of hard. There's no replay value and half the songs went out the other ear. When I do decide to play it, it's pleasant and good for the most part at the end of the day. It's also a fine ass artwork too.
Three best songs are the ridiculous-but-in-the-best-way Intermission, the cool Colin Zeal and the epilogue-y Resigned. _________________ My Top 100 :
