I specifically remember when this first came out, people were saying, "Eno produced it! It must be good!" So of course I bought a copy, and I liked it for a while, but it ended up being the only record of theirs I ever bought.
It wasn't until years later that I finally heard their first version of "Satisfaction," which I think I like slightly better than the Eno version. Back in the late 70s, new wave bands couldn't get airplay in the USA with originals until they'd scored at least one hit single with a cover... Terribly unfair, really.
One fun, quirky bop after another. I really enjoy this record. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.
