At one point this was actually one of later period Beatles albums that didn't really interest me that much. I was more of an Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper guy, but lately I've been really enjoying it. The experimental/all over the place nature is very charming.

Still the album from The Beatles that I struggle with the most, even if it's not necessarily the one I like the least. Some great songs, but a lot of ideas and tracks I just have little interest in. But also, it's not like the band needs my praise or anything.

Track picks
1. Back In The U.S.S.R.
7. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
8. Happiness Is A Warm Gun
15. Why Don't We Do It In The Road?
17. Julia
23. Helter Skelter
25. Revolution 1

This is one of my favorite “it’s a nice day, I’m going for a walk to appreciate nature and life” records.

This is also one of my favorite “it’s a shit day, I’m staying inside because I’m depressed” records.

Back in 68 when the White Album was released, talk was going around that The Beatles needed some money quickly because, for some reason or two, they were broke. So, rumor had it that they wrote a bunch of songs quickly to toss onto a double record set to make the quick cash. At first, I agreed that that's probably what had happened, as many of the songs seemed to be simple, odd, and humorous throwaways. However, as time went on, it eventually became a Beatles' gem, like all the others. It's not my favorite Beatles album, but it's up there. They all are.
