One I haven’t seen in a while but good to see it’s still updating, even if Freewheelin’ is too low…

Is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?

One of these days I think I'm gonna overhaul this thing. I've tweaked it a bit here and there, and I think a good bit of the top quarter of the chart would stay mostly the same, but my musical taste has changed a ton since I last did this.

And maybe one day I'll get around to writing more notes lol.

That's one of those albums I think I need to give another listen to - haven't really sat down with it since I decided to go through Dylan's whole discography which, now that I'm looking at the chart I created when I did that, was SEVEN years ago which feels insane to me.

At the very least, you should check out Marissa Nadler's The Path of the Clouds, as it was released only last year and judging by this chart I think you might really like it. Maybe the latest Real Estate LP too... Anyways, if you don't get something in there from within the last 10 years, people will start to think you're lying about your age!

On the plus side, I always like seeing Animals ranked over DSotM, even though it's kind of a tilting-at-windmills thing at this point.

Lol I’ll give that a listen! I enjoyed July, so I’m sure I’ll enjoy her other stuff too. Real Estate I’ve always enjoyed well enough, but it’s never blown me away.

And yeah, I know a lot of my top albums are pretty old—and plenty of them are from the classic rock canon. But that’s what I was super into growing up, so there’s a lot that I have a real personal connection with, so they end up among my favorites!

Took me a good few goes in fairness and then I kinda just fell into being my favourite eventually (was Desire for sure until that point). Nashville Skyline is actually one I'm growing fond of of late, got a gift of it on vinyl and it's becoming commonplace around the house now.

I can actually recall you going through that discography too once upon alright, mad that it's 7 years ago, time is scary...

I still remember being in school and coming home and looking at BEA for which albums I was gonna try and torrent that evening, now I'm 30...
